Meet The Founder
Sawida Magba-Kamara, the visionary behind Padi Network, embarked on this journey while pursuing her master’s in entrepreneurship and innovation management. It was during her research on black female entrepreneurs and the hurdles they face that she realised the pressing need for change. The discouraging statistics painted a bleak picture, but Sawida saw a glimmer of hope in the power of community and mentorship.
Driven by her passion for fostering connections and empowering others, Sawida set out to create a space where black women could come together to share knowledge, support one another, and feel empowered to pursue their dreams. Drawing from her experience as a seasoned networker, she recognized the importance of a safe and nurturing environment where women could thrive individually while uplifting each other collectively.
Community lies at the heart of Sawida’s mission, and she is committed to equipping black women with the resources, tools, and support they need to overcome obstacles and achieve success in their professional journeys.
